Through Stripe. Invoices are issued by Stripe, not by nouz. You access them through Stripe's billing portal — linked from your Settings page.

Stripe handles all the invoice infrastructure for nouz — issuing, sending, archiving, downloading. Your access path is the billing portal, which Stripe hosts and we link to from Settings.

01 Where do I open the Stripe billing portal?

Open Settings → Subscription. The "Manage billing" link opens the Stripe billing portal in a new tab. From there you can view every invoice, download PDFs, update your payment method, change billing email — all the Stripe-side things.

02 What's on each invoice?

Each invoice from Stripe lays out exactly what you paid for and when. It shows the billing period it covers, your plan name and monthly rate, any proration credits or charges from a mid-cycle plan change, VAT broken out as its own line where your country requires it, and the payment method charged plus the date. The full list is below.

  • The billing period it covers.
  • The plan name and monthly rate.
  • Any proration credits/charges from mid-cycle plan changes.
  • VAT broken out as a line (if your country requires it).
  • The payment method charged and the date.

03 How do I download invoices for my accountant?

On each invoice in the portal, there's a download PDF button. Most accountants want one PDF per invoice. If yours wants the full year in one go, Stripe doesn't have a "download all" button — but the portal shows the URL pattern, and your accountant can usually walk the URLs themselves if they have your password (which they should not).

04 Why do I get two emails per invoice?

Two emails go out per invoice. Stripe emails you a "payment receipt" when the card is charged. They send a separate "invoice" PDF email a few minutes later. The receipt is informal; the invoice is the document your accountant wants.

When forwarding to your accountant, send the invoice email (with the PDF attachment) — not the receipt email. The receipt is a confirmation; the invoice is the legal document.
