English or German today. Where to change it, and how the rest of nouz follows along.

Two languages today. English and German are fully supported. More languages will be added as we expand into more countries.

Language in nouz is a single-click switch that changes every screen, every email, every error message. There's no half-translated state — both English and German are fully maintained.

01 Where to change it

Open Settings → Account. The language picker is a dropdown labelled Display language. Pick English or German, click Save. The app reloads in the new language within a second.

02 What it covers

Switching the language changes:

  • Every tab and button in the app.
  • Error messages and form validation.
  • Emails we send you (welcome, password reset, OTP, billing).
  • The Help Center pages you're reading right now.

Your data — entries, products, fixed costs — is unaffected by the language switch. Numbers stay as numbers; entry notes stay in whatever language you typed them.

03 More languages later

The i18n infrastructure is built — adding French, Italian, Polish, Dutch is a translation job, not a code job. The order we add them depends on where our customer base grows. If you'd like nouz in a specific language, drop us an email — usage demand is the main driver of which we prioritise.
