Language in nouz is a single-click switch that changes every screen, every email, every error message. There's no half-translated state — both English and German are fully maintained.
01 Where do I change the language?
Open Settings → Account, where the language picker is a dropdown labelled Display language. Pick English or German and click Save, and the app reloads in the new language within a second. Both languages are fully maintained, so there's no half-translated state — the switch changes every screen, every email, and every error message at once. It's a single-click change you can make any time.
02 What does the language switch cover?
Switching the language changes every tab and button in the app, all error messages and form validation, the emails we send you (welcome, password reset, OTP, billing), and even the Help Center pages you're reading right now. What it doesn't touch is your data — entries, products and fixed costs are unaffected, numbers stay as numbers, and entry notes stay in whatever language you typed them. The list below details the coverage.
- Every tab and button in the app.
- Error messages and form validation.
- Emails we send you (welcome, password reset, OTP, billing).
- The Help Center pages you're reading right now.
Your data — entries, products, fixed costs — is unaffected by the language switch. Numbers stay as numbers; entry notes stay in whatever language you typed them.
03 Will more languages be added?
Yes — the i18n infrastructure is already built, so adding French, Italian, Polish or Dutch is a translation job, not a code job. The order we add them depends on where our customer base grows, and usage demand is the main driver of what we prioritise. If you'd like nouz in a specific language, drop us an email; the more owners ask for the same one, the sooner it moves up the list.
