At 1.000 orders a month nouz is $115 on Pro, number 7 of 9 by price. Line 31 is where a subscription belongs on your own P&L: overhead, spread over the days it covers. Polar Analytics and Triple Whale price on annual GMV rather than orders, so they are not ranked here.

Bloom on Sprout, $0,02 an order. The dearest at this volume is Lifetimely at $149 a month.

What this calculator does

What it does

This calculator prices every order-priced Shopify profit tracker at your monthly order volume: TrueProfit, BeProfit, Lifetimely, Bloom, Kleio, SimplyCost, Profit Calc, ProfitOne and nouz. It takes each tool's cheapest plan that covers your orders, adds any per-order overage, and shows the day every price was read.

The formula

Three ways to price and one question that decides.

Profit trackers for Shopify price in three ways. Most sell order tiers: a plan covers so many orders a month and the next one up covers more. A few charge one flat price whatever you sell. And the data platforms price on annual GMV, which follows revenue rather than orders.

The tier tools differ in what happens at the edge of a tier. Some move you to the next plan; one charges a fee for every order past it, capped each month. TrueProfit’s top tier, for example, includes 3.500 orders, and at 5.000 a month its cheapest configuration is $305, of which $105 is overage.

So the question that decides the bill is your order count, and the honest version of it is next year’s count rather than this month’s. Put both in and watch the order of the list change.

Where it goes wrong

Four ways a cheap tracker turns into an expensive one.

Most surprises on this bill come from comparing the wrong month, the wrong plan or the wrong number of stores.

Priced at this month's volume

A tracker is chosen for a year or more, and a growing store crosses tiers on the way. Price every tool at the order count you expect twelve months out; the tool that is cheapest today is often not the cheapest then.

The entry plan, without the report you wanted

Two vendors keep the P&L report off their entry plan: BeProfit’s starts at $49 and its P&L report at $99, and TrueProfit’s report starts on its second tier. At 50.000 orders TrueProfit’s cheapest configuration is $335, and $560 with the report. Switch the calculator to a P&L report and the difference shows.

One store's price, for several stores

Most of these prices are per store. TrueProfit asks for a plan per store, BeProfit covers one shop per plan below its top tier, and Kleio bills each store through that store’s own Shopify account. nouz’s larger plans cover 5 and 10 stores for one price. If you run more than one shop, multiply before you compare.

Chosen on price alone

The cheapest tool is right only if it answers your questions. How deep the statement goes, whether a cost change keeps its own date, how VAT is handled and how far back the history reaches decide whether the number you read each morning can be trusted, and none of them is on a price list.

Worked example

1.000 orders a month, one store

The calculator’s default: a store taking 1.000 orders a month, priced on every order-priced tracker at the cheapest plan that covers it, any plan allowed.

At this volume the bills run from $20 to $149 a month for the same store, a spread of $129.

The cheapest is Bloom on Sprout; nouz is $115 on Pro, number 7 of 9 by price. Ten times the orders tells a different story: at 10.000 a month the same table runs from $20 to $499, and nouz is number 4.

Plans of the order-priced trackers, checked 1 Oct 2026 on each vendor’s own page.

Two platforms price on annual GMV instead and are named rather than ranked: Polar Analytics, whose Business Intelligence product starts at $510 a month under $5.000.000 of annual GMV, by demo; and Triple Whale, which lists a free plan and paid packages from $219 a month that its own site prices on GMV. A cheaper tool than any of these is a spreadsheet, and the cost of that one is your time.

In the app

nouz works this out from every order, every day.

A calculator works from flat rates you type once. nouz prices every single order from the cost rules that were in force on that order's own date, and rebuilds the same statement every night from your own orders and your own ad spend.

  • Every cost at the rate of its own day. Product costs, parcels and payment fees per order, so a price change never rewrites last month.
  • Ad spend comes in by itself. Meta, Google and TikTok through their official APIs, plus anything you add by hand or by CSV.
  • The same lines, per product. What is left after product costs, after shipping and payment fees, and after ads, for every product you sell.

Questions

What profit trackers cost, answered.

What does a Shopify profit tracker cost?
It depends more on your order volume than on the tool. Most of the category prices by orders a month, some charge one flat price whatever you sell, and the data platforms price on annual GMV. That is why the calculator asks for your orders first: the order of the list changes completely between a few hundred orders a month and a few thousand.
Why does one tool's bill keep rising above its tier?
Because it charges a fee for every order past the orders its tier includes. TrueProfit works this way, with a monthly cap on that overage for each tier, so a busy month costs more until the cap is reached and nothing more after it. The calculator prices every tier at your volume, overage included, and shows the cheapest.
Which tools are not in the calculator, and why?
Polar Analytics and Triple Whale price on annual GMV and the package you choose rather than on orders, so ranking them by order count would be a guess. Free plans that show only part of your data, such as Bloom's seven-day plan, are left out of the ranking too, because they are not a full plan to compare like for like.
How current are these prices?
Every price was read on the vendor's own pricing page or Shopify App Store listing, and the day it was read is printed beside the table. Vendors change plans, so if that day is long gone, check the two or three tools on your shortlist before deciding.
Where does a profit tracker belong on my P&L?
On line 31, Overhead Costs, spread across the days the subscription covers rather than dropped on the day it bills. A per-order surcharge moves with volume, but it is still the price of a tool rather than the cost of an order, so it belongs in the same place.
Is the cheapest tool the right one?
Only if it answers the questions you ask. Price is one axis; how deep the P&L goes, whether every cost keeps its own effective date, and how VAT is handled are others, and they decide whether the figure you read each morning is right. The comparison linked below covers those, tool by tool.

At 5.000 orders a month, for reference: $305 on Enterprise at TrueProfit, $249 on Plus at BeProfit and $299 on L at Lifetimely, checked 1 Oct 2026.

Whatever you pay for the tool, read every cost on one statement.

nouz turns your Shopify orders, ad spend and costs into a daily 34-line P&L, with every cost kept at its own effective date and VAT on its own line.
