Triple Whale pricing: what the plans cost and how your GMV sets the price

Triple Whale's four packages, the prices its Shopify App Store listing shows, how annual GMV moves the bill, and the 12-month term behind every paid plan.

The short answer

Triple Whale has a free plan, then Foundation from $219 a month and Automate from $749, as its Shopify App Store listing shows; Enterprise is quoted by sales. The real price follows your brand's annual GMV, and every paid plan is a 12-month subscription, billed monthly or once a year with two months free.

Triple Whale is an analytics and attribution platform for ecommerce brands, built around its own tracking pixel and an AI assistant called Moby. Its pricing is harder to read than most: its pricing page names four packages and explains how they are priced, but shows no price at all, and the figures a merchant can see before talking to sales are on its Shopify App Store listing. This page puts the two together: what each package costs, what moves the price, the commitment behind it, and how it sits next to a profit tracker.

In short

  • Four packages, checked 30 Oct 2026: Free, Foundation, Automate and Enterprise. The listing shows Foundation at $219 a month and Automate at $749; Enterprise is quoted by sales.
  • The price is set by the brand's annual GMV together with the package, so the listing's figures are where the prices start, not what every store pays.
  • Foundation, Automate and Enterprise are 12-month subscriptions, billed monthly or once a year with two months free.
  • A growing brand moves up to the plan that matches its revenue tier, with notice; paying for the year in advance fixes the tier for that year.
  • Every paid plan includes unlimited users and as many stores as needed; the free plan has ten users and twelve months of data.

The yearly prices are ten months for twelve: $2.190 for Foundation and $7.490 for Automate, which is the "two months free" the pricing page promises. The listing also notes that Triple Whale may bill some charges directly, apart from the store's Shopify invoice.

Why the price follows your GMV

Triple Whale's own answer to how pricing works is one sentence: all prices are based on a combination of the brand's annual GMV and the package it chooses. GMV is the value of everything sold, before returns, costs or VAT come off, so the bill grows with the store's sales rather than with its orders or its profit. That is why the listing's $219 is a starting price: a larger brand on the same package pays more, and the exact figure comes from a walkthrough with sales.

The pricing page also says what happens as a brand grows: it moves automatically to the plan that matches its revenue tier, with notice well in advance. A brand that pays for the year up front keeps its tier for that year even if it grows past it, which turns the yearly option into a way of fixing the price as well as a discount.

The 12-month term

Foundation, Automate and Enterprise are 12-month subscriptions. The choice is only how they are billed: monthly, or once a year with two months free. A store that starts on monthly billing has still signed up for a year, which matters more than the monthly figure for a brand that is testing whether it needs attribution at all. The free plan has no commitment, so it is the place to test the pixel and the dashboard before any term starts.

What it costs next to a profit tracker

Triple Whale and a profit tracker answer different first questions. Triple Whale is built around attribution: which ad, channel and creative brought each order, measured by its own pixel. A profit tracker is built around the profit and loss: what each day left after the goods, the shipping, the payment fees, the ads and the overhead. Attribution decides where the next dollar of ad spend goes; the profit and loss decides whether the store can afford it. MER, POAS or ROAS sets out which of those numbers answers which question.

On price the two models move differently. Triple Whale's paid plans start at $219 a month, rise with annual GMV and run for twelve months. nouz prices per plan rather than per sale: Base $55, Pro $115 and Scale $289 a month (about €49, €99 and €249). Base covers up to 500 orders a month, and Pro and Scale have no order limit, every plan carries every feature, and each month can be cancelled. A store past Base pays the same on Pro and Scale whatever its GMV does, and the profit tracker cost calculator puts the order-priced tools at your own volume.

Whichever you choose, a tool's subscription is one of your fixed costs, and on a profit and loss statement it belongs with overhead, spread over the days it covers. TrueProfit pricing works through a tool priced by orders instead of GMV, and the comparison of the best Shopify profit tracking apps prices the wider field the same way.

How these prices were read

The packages, the pricing rule, the 12-month term and the plan contents were read on 30 Oct 2026 from Triple Whale's own pricing page and its questions and answers; the monthly and yearly figures from the listing the same day, because the pricing page shows none. Prices change, and a GMV-based quote depends on the brand, so the vendor is the authority on any later day. nouz's figures are read from the plans its checkout charges, set out under nouz's pricing.

Questions

Questions, answered.

How much does Triple Whale cost a month?
There is a free plan. The paid plans start at $219 a month for Foundation and $749 for Automate on its Shopify App Store listing, and the price rises with the brand's annual GMV. Enterprise is quoted by sales. Checked 30 Oct 2026.
Does Triple Whale have a free plan?
Yes. The free plan has ten users, twelve months of data, the Triple Pixel and first and last click attribution, with no commitment. Multi-touch attribution, custom dashboards and the SQL editor start on Foundation.
Is Triple Whale billed monthly or yearly?
Either, but the paid plans are 12-month subscriptions whichever way they are billed. Paid yearly, Foundation is $2.190 and Automate $7.490, ten months for twelve, and the tier stays fixed for the year. Checked 30 Oct 2026.
Why does Triple Whale's price depend on GMV?
Its pricing combines the package with the brand's annual GMV, so a larger brand pays more for the same package, and a growing one moves up a tier with notice. The listing's monthly figures are the starting prices.
