Revenue and orders · P&L line 14
Net revenue
What you kept after discounts, returns and VAT.
Formula
Gross revenue − returns − VAT
Net revenue is gross revenue minus returns minus VAT. It is the first number on the statement that is genuinely yours, and it is the denominator every cost percentage below it uses.
Getting it right depends on two details that are easy to miss: refunds belong to the day the refund was issued, not the day the order was placed, and VAT has to come out at the effective rate on what was actually kept.
When someone quotes a margin percentage, always ask what the denominator was. In nouz it is always this line.
