Setting up your costs Answer 20 of 46 Updated

How do I save, discard or close a cost panel?

Every cost opens in a panel on the right side of the page. A new cost has Cancel and a save button, like Save rule. Once you change a saved cost, the buttons become Discard changes and a save button.

Discard changes puts the saved values back. A click outside the panel never throws your typing away: the panel stays open with your changes. Esc closes the panel. With unsaved changes, the first Esc shows a reminder, and a second Esc closes it without saving. The X in the corner closes it too.

Press Ctrl and Enter together to save, or Cmd and Enter on a Mac. The save button works once the fields it needs are filled in. Required fields carry a red star. If every field is greyed out, you can read the cost but not change it.

A saved cost with nothing changed shows a delete button, like Delete rule, Delete cost or Delete spend. Click it, then click again within a few seconds to confirm.

After a save, nouz works out the affected days again in the background. The page updates by itself when that is done.
