Account and security
Signing in, your team, where your data lives, exports and deletion.
Where is my data stored?
In the EU, and the application is served from the same region. Row-level security means one account cannot read another's data. The Privacy Policy carries the full processor register, naming each provider and where it stores what.
Third-party tokens are encrypted at rest and only ever decrypted server side at the moment of a call.
How do I export my data?
Settings, Data export. The full account archive is available on every plan, because portability is a right rather than a paid feature.
Pro adds individual exports of the P&L, products, inventory, orders, order lines, payments, refunds, ad spend, cost rules and packaging EPR volumes, as CSV, Excel or JSON.
How do I delete my account?
Settings, Store, Danger zone. Deletion is soft for 30 days in case you change your mind, then permanent.
Invoices are kept for the seven years Austrian tax law requires. Nothing else survives.
How do I add someone to my team?
On the Scale plan, from Settings, Team: invite them by email address and pick one of three roles. An Owner can do everything, including billing, integrations, costs and the team. An Admin can edit costs and integrations, but not billing and not the team. An Analyst has read-only access to the P&L and Insights, which is the right role for an accountant or an agency.
Roles are set per organisation rather than per store, so somebody you invite can see every store you have connected. Base and Pro are single-user plans.
Do you store my customers' personal data?
No. There is no column in the database for a customer name, address, phone number or email address.
To tell a repeat order from a first order, nouz stores Shopify's internal customer identifier and nothing else.
