Setting up your costs Answer 19 of 46 Updated
What do Active, Scheduled, Ended and Booked mean on the cost pages?
They show the Status of each cost, as a small coloured label in the first column. Active means the cost applies today. Scheduled means it starts on a later day. Ended means it stopped before today.
Booked is for one-time costs on the Overhead page. A one-off dated today or earlier reads Booked. A one-off with a date in the future reads Scheduled until its day comes.
Old versions of a rule stay in the list, marked Ended. That is how your history keeps the prices that were true then. A version with a later start date is Scheduled, so you can enter a price rise before it happens. The list shows Active costs first, then Scheduled, then Booked, then Ended.
You cannot pause a cost. To stop one, give it an end date: Effective to on the Logistics and Transaction fees pages, End date on the Overhead page. After that day it reads Ended and counts no more. The Products page uses other labels: Synced, Edited and No cost.
