Which timezone decides what counts as today?

Your store's own timezone decides it, and nouz takes it from Shopify when you connect. Every day in nouz starts at midnight in that timezone. Here is an example. An order placed at 00:30 in Vienna on 1 October belongs to 1 October in nouz. A report kept in UTC, the world's reference clock, files it under 30 September. In UTC it was still 22:30 at that moment.

This matters most at the start of a month. Without one clock, the first hour of the 1st can land in different months in different reports. One timezone everywhere also makes each day comparable with the next. The P&L and the daily email both follow the same clock. Store timezones and the month boundary covers the rare cases.

An owner or an admin can change it in Settings, under Store. Pick the new timezone and save. A box then asks you to confirm, for example Change the timezone to Berlin? It shows Now, New, and how many Days recomputed. Click Change and recompute to go ahead, or the Keep button to stay as you are.

A change recomputes your whole history under the new clock. Orders close to midnight can move to the day next to them. It takes a few minutes, and your numbers update when it is done. A timezone you set by hand stays as you set it when you reconnect.
