Which currency does my store report in?

Your store reports in your shop's own currency, which nouz takes from Shopify when you connect. Every amount on every page, in every email and in every export uses it. Numbers are written the European way. So a store priced in euros reads €1.234,56, and one priced in dollars reads $1.234,56.

Orders arrive as Shopify recorded them in your shop currency. That includes Shopify Markets orders a customer paid in another currency, because Shopify records those in your shop currency too. The exception is an order a marketplace app created fully in a foreign currency. nouz converts those when they sync, at the European Central Bank's reference rate. You see the currency in Settings, under Store, and an owner or an admin can change it. Under the field, nouz shows how amounts will look, like Amounts show as €1.234,56. Changing it only changes the label on what is already synced. It does not convert any amounts. So it should always match the currency your shop sells in. A currency you set by hand stays as you set it when you reconnect.

Each store keeps its own currency. Only stores in the same currency can be added up together.
