What can each team role do?

There are three roles: Owner, Admin and Analyst. Settings, under Team, shows them in a table called What each role can do. A role covers every store in the workspace.

An Owner can do everything. That includes billing, the team and deleting a store's synced data. An Admin can see every number, edit costs, connect integrations and run a sync. An Admin can also change store settings and shared reports, like custom reports. An Admin cannot change billing or the team. An Analyst sees every number and can export it, but cannot change anything.

The Analyst rule is enforced inside the database, not only on the screen. That is what matters. The database refuses every change from an Analyst. So a read-only account stays read-only, even if someone sent a request the app would never send.

Team members come with Pro, which has room for 5, and Scale, which has no limit. Everyone sees the same numbers. The roles decide who can change what makes them.
