Which emails does nouz send, and how do I switch them off?

nouz sends reports, alerts and a few emails that follow from something you did, and each person switches their own reports and alerts on or off, per store, in Settings and then Notifications. Every report and alert also carries a one-click unsubscribe that turns off exactly that email.

The reports: the Daily profit report, on by default, at 08:00 in your store's timezone unless you pick another hour, with a few lines of forecast that are on by default as well; the Weekly summary on Mondays, on by default; the Monthly report on the 1st, off by default; and custom reports, which an owner or admin sets up.

Three alerts watch the data. Sync failed, on by default, writes when a nightly or manual sync could not finish after several attempts. Integration disconnected, on by default, writes when a connection that worked stops: Shopify stops renewing nouz's access to the store, nouz is uninstalled from the Shopify store, or Meta, Google or TikTok refuses nouz's access to an ad account, for instance because the access was revoked or has expired. It sends one email per store, platform and day, within the hour, listing every account that stopped, and stays quiet when you disconnect in Settings yourself, when a sync fails for another reason, or when the connection works again before the email goes out. Data health issues, off by default, is checked once a day at your daily email hour and writes when the Overview's Needs your attention list has something new since its last email: a product sold without a unit cost, a payment method without a fee rule, a shipping zone without a price, a shipping rate card that ended with no new one, parcels priced without a weight or size, orders shipped to a country no zone lists, orders without a destination country, a country without an EPR rate, or orders in another currency not converted yet. It lists everything on the list and marks what is new; an unchanged list never repeats, and something that goes away and comes back counts as new.

The Forecast adds four alerts: a month likely to miss its EBITDA goal, on by default; low cash, off by default; products to reorder, off by default; and marketing over budget, off by default. Two more come only when something calls for them: Your export is ready, to whoever asked for it, and on Base one email to the owner in a month when the store reaches 400 orders.

While a Base store is past its monthly order limit after the trial, the reports and alerts pause, except the daily email, which keeps arriving with the day's net revenue and EBITDA.
