What does the Forecast P&L show, and how do I export it?
It shows every month ahead as a profit and loss statement, the way your P&L shows the past. The rows run from Gross revenue down to EBITDA and EBITDA %. Each month is a column, and Total adds them up.
The first column is this month and says incl. actual. It adds what is booked so far to the forecast for the days left. A month with a planned event shows the event's name at the top. Hover a figure to see its likely range. This month also shows the actual so far, and with a What if on, every month shows the figure without it.
Marketing costs is your ad plan, plus marketing spend from the Overhead page and your events' budgets. Overhead costs comes from your overhead book, to the day. Point at the question mark beside each for a note. With goals set, a Your goals section follows: Net revenue, Marketing budget and EBITDA, each month with its gap.
Click Export to download the table as a CSV file for a German-language Excel. It uses semicolons between columns and a decimal comma. The file holds the statement lines for each month and the total, as the page shows them. With a mouse, drag the table sideways to see more months.
The forecast shows profit, not cash. Money for VAT, new stock and loans moves your bank balance, but not EBITDA.
