Forecast and planning Answer 9 of 19 Updated

What is in the About this forecast panel?

It explains your forecast with your own store's numbers. Open it with About this forecast at the top of the Forecast page. It has four parts and a key to the charts.

How it is built gives each rule one line. Orders says which days the forecast copies and the pace it adds, for example +12,0%. Events, Costs, Marketing and Overhead say where each part comes from. Marketing names every ad platform, for example Meta +8,0% or Google: paused. Range says how wide the likely range is.

How accurate it has been shows the average miss on net revenue in recent months, up to the last six. Each month uses the forecast made the day before it began, against what the month brought. A bar per month shows each miss, and a miss over 15% shows in amber. Testing starts once your store has a little over a year of orders, and it needs three tested months. Until then, the panel says the range is an estimate.

Cost changes already included lists costs you saved with a future start date, for example Klarna fee 2,99% → 2,85%. Each row shows the date, a link to its cost page and what the change does to EBITDA. It lists up to four fee, logistics and product cost changes, and every overhead cost that starts or ends. With none, it says None.

What it cannot price yet only shows when something is missing. Products without a unit cost count as costing nothing. Payment methods without a fee rule, and parcels to a zone no rate card prices, are listed too. Until you add them, profit reads too high. Each line links to the page that fixes it. Reading the charts, at the end, explains Actual, Forecast, Likely range and Your goal.
