What does nouz deliberately not read?

nouz never reads your customers' names, addresses, email addresses or phone numbers. Orders are stored with Shopify's own customer ID, a code with no name in it. That code is enough to tell a new customer from a returning one.

From the shipping address, nouz keeps one thing: the destination country. It needs the country to price shipping and packaging EPR, the packaging fee some countries charge. It reads nothing from your shop's pages either. There is no tracking pixel, no script in your theme and no browsing data.

Store traffic, where Shopify allows it, comes from Shopify's own reports. It arrives as a count of visits per day, nothing more.

Less data means less to protect, and no line of a profit statement needs to know who bought the shirt. The same goes for your ad accounts: nouz reads what you spent, and nothing about who saw your ads. Every permission nouz asks Shopify for is read-only.
