Which alerts can I switch on in Notifications?

Open Settings, then Notifications, and scroll to the Alerts card. Alerts stay quiet until something needs you. They come in three groups: Sync and data, Forecast and Stock. Each person switches their own on or off, for each store.

Sync and data has three alerts. A sync fails, on by default, writes when the nightly sync or a Sync now does not finish after several tries. A connection stops working, on by default, writes when Shopify or an ad account loses its connection. It sends at most one email per store, platform and day. Data health, off by default, checks once a day, at your daily email hour. It writes when the Needs your attention list on the Overview has something new.

Forecast has two alerts. A month will likely miss its EBITDA goal is on by default. EBITDA is your profit after every cost. It looks at months that begin within the next eight weeks. It waits until you set an EBITDA goal on the Forecast. Marketing goes over budget is off by default. It writes when a month's marketing is forecast above the budget in your Goals. Each of the two writes at most once a week. You can also switch them on the Forecast page, under Alerts.

Stock has one alert, A product needs ordering, off by default. It follows the Order by dates of the reorder planner on Insights, Inventory. It checks once a day, at the same hour as your daily email. It writes when a product reaches its Order by day, or later while it is still due. It names a product again after two weeks if it is still due. The email links to Insights, Inventory.

Every alert has a one-click unsubscribe link. On Base, while a paid month is past its order limit, the alerts pause.
