Can a fee or shipping rule end on a date?

Yes. Open the cost or the payment method, find its newest version in the history, and click its three-dot menu. Choose End on a date and pick the last day it applies. The history is called Price history on Logistics and History on Transaction fees. A version with no end keeps running. A version that already has an end offers to change it, and Let it run on takes the end away.

After that day the rule charges nothing, and it reads Ended. A payment method whose rule has ended falls back to what applies without a rule. That is the fee Shopify reports on a Shopify Payments payment, or your Other rule if you keep one. With neither, the method is flagged as unpriced.

A shipping rate card that ends with no new card after it leaves later parcels without a shipping cost. The Overview then says No shipping price since, with the date, so a gap never looks like free shipping. Pick and pack, packaging, return processing and packaging EPR simply stop.

Use it when a cost really stops: you leave a carrier, a warehouse or a payment provider. When only the price changes, add a new version with its own start date instead: New prices from on Logistics, New fee from on Transaction fees. The old version then ends by itself.

Only the newest version takes an end date you choose. An older version always ends the day before the next one starts, and nouz sets that date for you. Saving a new version never deletes a later one you entered, and the page says so, like Your prices from 1 Dec stay as they are. Either way, every order is priced by the version that applied on its own day. A product's unit cost has no end date, it runs until the next cost starts, and an Overhead cost has its End date in its form.
