What does Profit today, so far mean?

It is how much your store has earned today, after every cost. You find it at the top of the Overview. It is today's EBITDA, as of your last sync. EBITDA is what is left of your sales after product costs, shipping, payment fees, marketing and fixed costs.

Each day carries its share of your fixed costs from midnight on. Say your rent and salaries come to €3.000,00 a month. Then each day carries about €98,63 of them. So in the morning the number is often below zero. It climbs as the day's orders come in and get synced. The chip beside it shows your EBITDA margin: today's profit as a share of net revenue. If you set margin targets, the chip turns green, orange or red.

Daily profit is the chart beside it. It shows your profit for each of the last 14 days, today included. A day with a loss hangs below the zero line. Today's bar is striped, because the day is not over yet. The dashed line marks the average of those days. Point at a bar, or use the arrow keys, to read that day.

The line above the chart then compares that day with the same weekday in the four weeks before. It might read: Yesterday €412,30 ↑3,1% vs the last 4 Wednesdays. Today is never compared, because it is only part of a day. A store with less history than that has nothing to compare with yet.

Under the card sit four small figures for today. Net revenue is your sales after VAT and refunds. Orders counts the orders placed today. Marketing is today's marketing costs, mostly ad spend. MER is net revenue divided by marketing: the sales each euro of ads brought back. Each figure has a small line for the last 14 days.
