nouz vs GoProfit (2026): Prices, Order Limits and History Compared

nouz and GoProfit compared on price at 300 to 5.000 orders, on order limits, history depth, VAT and costs, with the store each one fits.

The short answer

nouz is a daily 34-line Shopify P&L with VAT on its own line, CM1 to CM3, dated costs and the store's entire order history on every plan. GoProfit is a profit dashboard from $29 a month with hard order limits up to 10.000 and six months to five years of history, checked 6 Nov 2026.

nouz fits a Shopify store that wants its entire order history, a daily 34-line statement with VAT on its own line, CM1 to CM3 and every cost dated, and room to grow past 10.000 orders a month; GoProfit fits a store up to 2.000 orders a month that wants a live profit dashboard for less, from $29, with a Sidekick AI integration. CM1, CM2 and CM3 are the margins after goods, after shipping and fees, and after ads.

nouz is one of the tools compared here; competitor prices were read on 6 Nov 2026.

GoProfit launched on the Shopify App Store in August 2024 and carries Shopify's Built for Shopify badge. It sells a free plan and three paid ones, each with a hard monthly order limit and a set depth of history: the further back you want to see, the higher the plan. nouz backfills every order a store has ever taken, on every plan, and builds its statement on a cost engine where every cost keeps its date. This page sets the two side by side on price at four volumes, on history, VAT, costs and ad spend. The table of every tool nouz is compared with prices the rest of the field, and the page on a Shopify profit tracker for EU stores covers how nouz treats VAT, payment methods and number formats.

  • nouz is Base $55, Pro $115 and Scale $289 a month (about €49, €99 and €249). Base covers up to 500 orders a month, and Pro and Scale have no order limit, every plan carries every feature, and each starts with a 14-day trial; billing runs through Shopify, month by month.
  • GoProfit publishes four plans, checked 6 Nov 2026: Free to 50 orders a month, Starter at $29 to 500, Pro at $79 to 2.000 and Scale at $199 to 10.000, each a hard limit with no fee per extra order listed, and nothing above 10.000; paid plans start with a 7-day trial.
  • Bills: nouz is the cheaper of the two from 2.001 to 10.000 orders a month, at 5.000 orders $115 on Pro against $199 on Scale; up to 2.000 GoProfit is, and above 10.000 it lists no plan.
  • History: nouz backfills the store's entire order history on every plan; GoProfit's dashboard syncs six months of data on Free, two years on Starter, three on Pro and five on Scale.
  • Assistants and reports: nouz has no AI assistant connection and sends a daily profit email instead; GoProfit includes a Sidekick AI integration and a daily or weekly profit snapshot from Starter.

What each costs at 300, 500, 1.500 and 5.000 orders

GoProfit steps up three times by order count, and each step is a wall rather than a fee: its listing shows a hard monthly limit on each plan and no charge per extra order. nouz steps up once: Base covers up to 500 orders a month, and Pro and Scale have no order limit. The table prices nouz's cheapest plan and every GoProfit plan at four volumes.

Up to 2.000 orders a month GoProfit is the lower bill: $29 against $55 on Base for a small store, and $79 against $115 on Pro at 1.500 orders. From 2.001 to 10.000 orders nouz is: $115 on Pro against $199 on Scale, or $1.380 against $2.388 over a year. Above 10.000 orders a month GoProfit lists no plan at all, while nouz's Pro plan has no order limit, so a store that expects to cross that line should price the move before it needs it. The profit tracker cost calculator puts both at your own volume.

History: six months to five years, or all of it

GoProfit's plans differ in more than orders. Its profit dashboard syncs six months of data on the free plan, two years on Starter, three on Pro and five on Scale. For a store that opened last year, Starter's two years cover everything. For an older store the depth decides what can be compared: last year's Black Friday against this one's, a product's margin before and after a supplier change, or the customers won three years ago and what they have spent since.

nouz backfills the store's entire order history on the first sync, on every plan, and keeps it. Every report reads the same history: the statement for any range since the first order, Insights with the margin of every product, and the LTV tab, which follows the customers won in each month through every later purchase, takes refunds off on the day they happen, and sets their value against CAC, the cost of winning a customer. A cohort is only as long as the history behind it, which is why the depth matters most there.

VAT, costs and the statement

GoProfit's listing says it unifies sales, COGS, shipping, fees, taxes and ad spend into one live dashboard, syncs COGS, shipping, fees and taxes automatically, and offers a P&L with expenses tracking, COGS and custom shipping profiles on every plan, with per-order profit and Smart Alerts on profit drops and spikes. How it treats VAT inside prices, whether its margins are named CM1 to CM3, and whether costs keep the date they took effect are not on its listing; check them in its trial if they matter to you.

nouz states VAT where a European merchant expects it. Every revenue line down to Taxes, line 12, includes VAT the way the shop prices; Taxes is the VAT Shopify recorded on each order minus the VAT handed back on refunds; Net Revenue, line 14, and every line below it exclude VAT; and an order whose prices exclude tax is grossed up at the rate Shopify actually charged, so it reads like its tax-inclusive twin. Below net revenue the statement steps down as a ladder: CM1 after goods, CM2 after logistics and payment fees, CM3 after marketing, and EBITDA after overhead.

Every cost type in nouz keeps the date it took effect: the unit cost of each variant, the five logistics components, the fee rule of each payment method and every overhead line. Saving a new cost closes the old rule the day before and opens the new one, so a closed month does not move when today's price changes. Logistics is priced per parcel: a rate card by zone and by weight or size, pick and pack, packaging, return processing on the day of the refund, and packaging EPR, the producer fees a country charges on packaging. On Shopify Payments the fee is the one Shopify reports on each transaction, and Klarna, iDEAL and EPS taken through it are rows of their own.

Ad spend, alerts and assistants

GoProfit's free plan covers marketing analytics for two channels, Starter syncs every channel it supports automatically, and its Pro plan brings manual ad attribution by UTM. nouz syncs Meta, Google and TikTok, reads Shopify's Shop Campaigns, and takes any other spend by hand or from a CSV; it measures marketing blended, as MER, the revenue per ad euro, POAS, the profit per ad euro, and CAC, with no tracking pixel and no attribution model, by design.

GoProfit sends a daily or weekly profit snapshot from Starter, where its Sidekick AI integration also starts, and its Scale plan brings a dedicated account manager and one-to-one onboarding. nouz sends a daily profit email with yesterday's statement, weekly and monthly summaries and alerts, on every plan, and has no AI assistant connection. Pro includes one manager call a month and Scale 3 manager calls a month, booked in the app beside a product built to be set up alone. Around the statement sit Inventory and a Forecast page that projects up to twelve months ahead, this one included, and on Pro and Scale several stores in one currency add up in one view.

Which one fits

  • Choose nouz when

your store has years of orders worth reading, you sell into EU markets and want VAT on its own line, your costs change and closed months must stay closed, or you expect to pass 10.000 orders a month and want a plan with no order limit.

  • Choose GoProfit when

your store takes up to 2.000 orders a month and the lower bill matters most, its free plan covers your first 50 orders a month, you want a profit snapshot and alerts with a Sidekick AI integration, and two or three years of history is enough.

Both read Shopify's orders and take costs off them; the difference is how far back they read, how much of the cost structure they model, and where each plan stops. Each of these claims about nouz is listed, with where to check it, on the nouz facts page.

How this comparison was made

GoProfit's plans, prices, limits and features were checked 6 Nov 2026 on its Shopify App Store listing. nouz's prices and limits are read from the plans its checkout charges, as nouz's pricing shows them. No review figure is quoted for either tool, and nothing is scored. Where GoProfit's listing says nothing on a point, the tables say so rather than guess, and the free plan is the place to check it.
