Setting up your costs Answer 23 of 46 Updated

What are the five logistics components?

They are the five logistics costs: Shipping, Pick & pack, Packaging, Returns and Packaging EPR. Each has a row on the Logistics page, and a click on the row opens its page. A cost you have not entered yet shows a Set up button. Every order runs through all five.

Shipping is the carrier's price per parcel, by zone and by weight or box size. Pick & pack is your warehouse's fee for picking items and packing them. Packaging is the box, tape and filler for each parcel: what a box costs and what it is made of.

Returns is a return label plus handling, for each refund where items come back. Packaging EPR is the recycling fee per kilogram of packaging, by the country a parcel goes to. nouz prices that fee, and your scheme handles the filing.

Returns count on the day of the refund, and the other four on the day of the order. Nothing is paid back when an order is refunded, because the parcel did go out. Together they make your logistics cost per order. On the P&L, open Logistic Costs to see each part: Shipping, Pick & pack, Packaging, EPR fees and Returns. In Insights, the returns cost is called Return processing.
