Setting up your costs Answer 39 of 46 Updated

What does the Overhead page show?

It lists every cost you add by hand: running costs, marketing spend and one-offs. Open Overhead in the sidebar. The page is called Overhead & custom costs. Overhead means the costs of running the store that do not grow with each order, like rent or salaries.

The tabs above the list are views: All, Overhead, Recurring, One-time, Marketing spend and Other costs. Each one narrows the list. Recurring shows monthly and yearly costs. One-time shows one-offs and CSV imports of ad spend. The search finds a cost by its name or its category.

The columns are Status, Cost, Category, Recurrence, Amount, Daily P&L impact and Period. Status shows if a cost is Active, Scheduled, Ended or Booked. Daily P&L impact is what the cost takes from your profit each day. Period shows when it runs, like from 1 Jan 2026, or the day a one-off was booked. On a narrow screen, some columns hide to make room.

A Total row sits under the header. It counts the costs in the view, and adds up what the recurring ones running today cost per month, like €4.250,00 / mo. Next to it is their daily impact. On the One-time view, it adds up the one-off amounts instead.

Click Add cost to add one, or click a row to open it. A row of marketing spend opens the marketing form, and a CSV import opens a summary of its rows.
